Analysis and Simulation Continues to be at Forefront of Autodesk’s Commitment to Users
Do you ever wish you could experiment with software for free to see if it’s what your firm or design needs? Dream no further, because through Autodesk’s Labs website, Autodesk users can download what they call Technology Previews, or design tools, to assist in all different areas of design. The Labs website has several analysis and simulation-specific tools that users can use for free until the preview expires, including tools like the cloud-based Project Vasari.

It is this innovative mix of exciting new capabilities and practicality of free, easy-to-try software that the Revit Community chose to hone in on the analysis and simulation that Autodesk offers. Especially in such an important area of design, analysis and simulation gives users the ability to predict how a building will perform, which is crucial in this day and age of design and construction. This month’s industry spotlight will include a feature article on these Labs tools, in addition to the articles and news reporting on the overall status of the analysis and simulation aspect of design.

We hope you enjoy the highlights in analysis and simulation that we have cherry picked for you, which are featured in the list below. In addition see the Vendor’s Directory
for a list of software providers.
