For users of Autodesk Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) products including Revit Architecture, Revit Structure, Revit MEP and Related Products
Autodesk’s software and the Preferred Industry Partners’ products are not sold together as a package and there are not any discounts on the two products when bought together, but instead “It’s really about a joint-market approach; it’s not about having one suite, but having alignment on the activities we do,” said Karl Osti, Autodesk senior manager, ADN EMEA.
“For Trelligence, being awarded Preferred Industry Partner status by Autodesk brings us added recognition in the AEC market of the value that an integrated Trelligence Affinity and Revit Architecture solution brings to the conceptual design stage of building projects,” said Kernohan.
For the customer, purchasing a Preferred Industry Partner product signifies that the investment is secure because the product has Autodesk’s support. It’s a way for Autodesk to let the customer know that the company is stable and trustworthy. “We listen to the things they want to do and we get their input on what the software needs. We have the same level of interest and investment in each others' success,” said Quanci.
